ENERGY EFFICIENCY STANDARDIZATION AND
LABELING (EESL) PROGRAM

The ESMA Energy Efficiency Standardization and Labelling Program was launched in 2013 and is now well-established in the UAE. ESMA energy labels show how an appliance ranks on a scale from 1 to 5 based on its energy consumption. Appliances with more stars are more energy efficient.
